Early life and theatre
[edit]Moor was born in Cherupuzha in Kannur district, Kerala. He trained in theatre at the School of Drama and Fine Arts in Thrissur and graduated from the institution.[3] His theatre training preceded his work in Malayalam cinema, and his background in theatre has been noted in coverage of his acting career.[4]

[edit]Moor made his film debut with Shankar Ramakrishnan's Malayalam-language film Pathinettam Padi (2019), in which he played Ambotty.[5]
In 2021, Moor appeared in Rohith V. S.'s action thriller Kala, starring Tovino Thomas. He played the protogonist - a young boy who becomes involved in a violent confrontation with Tovino's character-shaji. The film was noted for its stylised treatment of violence and its focus on the conflict between its principal characters.[6][7]
Moor's performance in Kala received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actor at the 52nd Kerala State Film Awards in 2022.[8] The award was presented for his performance in Kala, which was also among the films discussed in coverage of the year's awards.[9]
Following Kala, Moor appeared in Jeo Baby's Malayalam film Sree Dhanya Catering Service (2022), playing Martin. The film centres on a group of people who come together to prepare a meal for a birthday celebration and was released in August 2022.[10][11]
In September 2022, Moor was announced as part of the cast of Arun Matheswaran's Tamil-language action film Captain Miller, starring Dhanush. The casting marked his first major role in Tamil cinema.[1][12]
Moor also appeared in the Malayalam films Thugs and Thrishanku in 2023. He subsequently appeared in Nadikar and Kuttante Shinigami in 2024.[13] In Nadikar, directed by Lal Jr., he played Suttu.[14]
In 2024, Moor appeared in the anthology film Manorathangal, which was based on stories by M. T. Vasudevan Nair. He appeared in the segment Kadugannawa: Oru Yathra, sharing the screen with Mammootty.[15]
