Minolops cincta is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Solariellidae.[1]
Morphological description
[edit]Minolops cincta is characterized by:
- Small, depressed-turbinate shell (5-7 mm diameter) with 4-5 whorls
- Distinctive spiral bands of reddish-brown on a pearly background[2]
- Umbilicate aperture with thin, complete peristome
- Smooth, iridescent nacre visible through the translucent shell
Description

Distribution
[edit]This marine species occurs off South Australia.
