Meropidia nitida is a species of hoverfly in the family Syrphidae, tribe Milesiini.[1][2]
Description
[edit]The size of the adult female Meropidia nitidia is 9–10.5 mm (0.35–0.41 in). The main colours on the body are yellow and brown.[1]
Distribution
[edit]Meropidia nitida is known from the Amboró National Park in central Bolivia. The types were collected at 2,070 m (6,790 ft) above sea level.[1]
