Luca Massaron is an Italian data scientist, author, and machine learning expert known for his contributions to applied artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and data science education. He has written numerous books on machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analysis, and is recognized as a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Machine learning. Massaron is also known for his achievements on the Kaggle data science platform, where he attained a top worldwide ranking in machine learning competitions.

Early life and education

Massaron was born in Verona, Italy. He studied business and management before transitioning into data science and machine learning. His early professional work combined economics, statistics, and business analytics, laying the foundation for his later specialization in artificial intelligence.

Career

Massaron has worked in data science and artificial intelligence for more than two decades across industries including telecommunications, insurance, finance, banking, and digital technology. His work has focused on developing predictive models, fraud detection systems, credit risk models, recommender systems, and machine learning applications for business decision-making.

During his career he has held senior data science positions at organizations including Axa and illimity Bank. He later joined Klarna, continuing his work in applied AI and machine learning.
