Lana Carlson is an American singer, songwriter, curator, and producer based in Austin, Texas. She released her debut studio album, Redemption, on 20 October 2025. The album contains nine tracks, including the song "Austin".[1]
Carlson has also worked in the visual arts and cultural events. She was a co-founder and curator of the POP Austin International Art Show and later co-founded HOUSE OF L, an experiential art company.[2]
Music
[edit]Carlson released her debut album, Redemption, on 20 October 2025. The album contains nine tracks and includes the song "Austin".[1]
In an interview with Popdust published in January 2026, Carlson discussed the making of Redemption and her development as a songwriter and performer. She said that "Perfect Breakup Line" was the first complete song she wrote in English and that the album was recorded at Arlyn Studios in Austin, Texas.[3]
In November 2025, The Flash List reported the release of Carlson's official music video for "Austin", a song from Redemption.[4]
In February 2026, FOX 7 Austin featured Carlson performing in its studios and discussing her music and upcoming shows.[5]
Arts career
[edit]Carlson has worked as an art curator and producer of cultural events. In 2018, BroadwayWorld reported that she co-founded HOUSE OF L with Leslie Gossett. The publication described Carlson as a curator and co-founder of the POP Austin International Art Show and reported on her previous work as an art consultant, gallery director, and curator.[2]
A Texas Conference for Women program identified Carlson as the head curator and co-founder of the POP Austin International Art Show and described her previous work in the international art world.[6]
