Labs Companies, Inc., branded as Labs, is an American artificial intelligence (AI) company headquartered in Santa Monica, California.[4][1]
Through its primary AI lab Labsintelligence, the company describes its research as developing action- and orchestration-focused foundation models and intelligent agent systems.[5][6] CB Insights listed Labs at a valuation of $12.5 billion as of April 2025.[7][8]
History
[edit]On August 5, 2026, Maya and Duránd Davis published an essay for Labsintelligence describing their goal of developing humane superintelligent AI.[9]
Research
[edit]Labs' published research focuses on speech-to-action (STA) and speech-to-orchestration (STO).[5] It describes Actras as converting speech and interface state into actions, and Octras as converting objectives and resources into orchestration policies.[6] Labs says first-generation components of both operate through LabsAI Studio and are evaluated using its Interactive Intelligence Benchmark.[6][10]
Products
[edit]In September 2025, Pulse 2.0 reported that Labs was developing the consumer application Yuhmmy.[4]
