Kyle Fernandes Glasgow (born 20 February 2010) is a 16-year-old professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Scottish League One club Alloa Athletic, on loan from Scottish Premiership side Rangers. Widely considered one of Rangers' brightest academy prospects, the "wonderkid" recently made headlines by scoring his first senior professional goal on 21 July 2026.
Early life
[edit]Glasgow was born on 20 February 2010 in Glasgow, Scotland. The younger brother of Scottish footballer Euan Glasgow, he was born to a Portuguese mother and a Scottish father.He attended Merchiston which is a private school in Edinburgh. [1] Growing up, he was a supporter of Scottish side Rangers.[2]
Club career
[edit]Rangers
As a youth player, Glasgow joined the youth academy of Scottish side Rangers.[3] In 2026, Glasgow signed a professional contract at Rangers, starting his senior career.
Alloa Athletic
In June 2026, Glasgow signed for Alloa Athletic on loan as part of a co-operation deal with Rangers.
International career
[edit]Glasgow is a Scotland and Portugal youth international. During the spring of 2026, he played for the Scotland national under-17 football team for 2026 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualification.
