Help:Phonos

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The MediaWiki extension <phonos>...</phonos> allows inline playing of audio files. This parser tag was released on 30 August 2023, following discussions at phab:T336763. It is mainly aimed at short pronunciations (Category:IPA language templates), or short music examples. Although it is possible to use the extension directly in wikitext, it is mainly used through templates, e.g. {{Audio}}.
