Hellwigia is a genus of ichneumonid wasps.^[2]^[3] A specimen of the species was reared by scientists for the first time in the Netherlands.^[3] Though formerly considered part of the subfamily Campopleginae,^[4] phylogenetic research has since transferred the genus to Ophioninae.^[2]^[5]
