Gabriel Pereira Simples (born 18 January 2005) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as either a centre-back or a right-back for Avaí.
Career
[edit]Born in Americana, São Paulo, Simples played for União Barbarense, Inter de Limeira, Amparo and XV de Piracicaba as a youth. He made his senior debut with the latter on 14 July 2023, starting in a 1–0 away win over Oeste, for the year's Copa Paulista.[2]
In July 2024, Simples moved to Santos and returned to the youth setup.[3] After winning the 2025 Campeonato Paulista Sub-20, he signed a two-year contract with Avaí on 26 December of that year.[4]
At Avaí, Simples was moved to a centre-back position.[5]
