Emery Gate

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Emery Gate Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in Chippenham, Wiltshire which opened in 1986. It takes over 90,000 square feet of land and has a 243 car space 2 level car park situated next to and below the building. Following a sale in 2022, the centre is now owned by Acorn Property Group.[1]

In 2008, Tesco moved into the centre following the closure of Somerfield,[2] where it remained until its closure in 2024.[3]

In July 2026, it was announced the former Tesco building would be converted into a "modern indoor leisure destination".[4]
