History

[edit]

Founded in 1917, Eide Bailly began as a local accounting firm. The current partnership was founded in 1998 by a merger of two namesake local accounting firms; Eide Helmeke & Co. and Charles Bailly & Co.

The firm has expanded through a combination of organic growth and business combinations that have increased its service offerings and geographic presence.

In 2025, Eide Bailly introduced an updated brand identity and logo[3] as part of a company-wide rebranding initiative.

In 2026, Eide Bailly announced an investment agreement with Reverence Capital Partners[4]. Effective July 31, 2026, Eide Bailly adopted an alternative practice structure. Under this structure, Eide Bailly serves as the overall brand name, Eide Bailly LLP provides audit and attest services, and Eide Bailly Advisory provides advisory and non-attest services.

Eide Bailly Alliance

The Eide Bailly Alliance is a member-based association of non-competing accounting firms with access to resources, experience, and service specialties.
