Educastration
In sexuality studies, educastration ("education" added to "castration") is the process by which societal institutions systematically repress the individual's sexuality since childhood. The term was coined by Mario Mieli in his Elements of a Homosexual Critique, which defined it as the "mutilation" of "the potential polymorphous unfolding of Eros". The concept has been applied to topics including transgender studies and homosexuality.[1][2][3][4]
