Conflict of interest disclosure

[edit]

I am a personal friend of Zhilin Wang and created this draft on my own initiative. I have disclosed the relationship at User:Cdxx1. I will not directly create or edit a mainspace biography and will defer to independent reviewers.

The draft was submitted through Articles for Creation on 11 August 2026. --Cdxx1 (talk) 09:12, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

AfC notability evidence

[edit]

This submission is primarily offered for review under WP:NACADEMIC criterion 1. Work-level records were used to avoid name conflation.

  • Crossref and OpenAlex both listed 126 citations for Wang's first-authored 2023 IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems paper, "Incentive Mechanism Design for Joint Resource Allocation in Blockchain-Based Federated Learning", as of 11 August 2026. OpenAlex placed the work in the field-normalized top 1% and reported an FWCI of 16.04: Crossref DOI record; OpenAlex work record.
  • Other DOI-level records used in the assessment include the first-authored WCNC survey, the first-authored TIFS paper, and the second-authored IoTJ crowdsensing paper, each placed by OpenAlex in the field-normalized top 10%.
  • The disambiguated Semantic Scholar author record listed 15 papers, 346 citations, and an h-index of 8.

The OpenAlex ORCID-linked author aggregate was deliberately not used because it visibly conflates namesakes and includes unrelated works dating to 2000. Only DOI-level work records were used. These metrics are supplied for independent reviewer assessment and are not presented as promotional claims in the biography. --Cdxx1 (talk) 10:46, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
