Resubmission note
[edit]This draft has been substantially revised to address the notability concerns raised in the previous review.
In particular, the lead section has been rewritten to foreground independent secondary sources that discuss the Berlin Group as a subject in its own right. These now include:
• World Bank (2024), which identifies the Berlin Group’s NextGenPSD2 as the main industry-driven API standardisation initiative in Europe • Divissenko (European Journal of Risk Regulation, Cambridge University Press), which discusses NextGenPSD2 in the context of interoperability and market fragmentation • International Monetary Fund (WP/20/241), which refers to Berlin Group standards in comparative analysis of European open banking • McKinsey & Company (2021), which describes the Berlin Group as a consortium developing a common API standard in the EU
These sources are independent, reliable, and provide substantive coverage of the Berlin Group and its role in the PSD2/open banking ecosystem.
Additional adjustments were made throughout the draft to improve attribution, remove evaluative language, and ensure compliance with Wikipedia’s neutrality and verifiability requirements.
I believe the draft now meets the requirements of WP:ORG and WP:GNG. I would appreciate a fresh review. Maciej Kostro (talk) 18:48, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
