WizTree

[edit]

WizTree is a computer program created by Antibody Software Limited as one of four main projects to create PC management tools.[1] Its purpose is to scan the hard drives of the user's personal computer and organize files based on size. Users use the software to delete large files which take up too much space. Although it is free for non-commercial use, a distribution license must be purchased to include it in a user's own application.[2]

To display large files to the user, the program creates a table. It is dictated by which hard drive the user selects. Rows - which correspond to specific folders. Columns will each have values including % size of parent folder, size (usually in GB, KB, or related units), number of items, and related information. The bottom of a page on WizTree contains a horizontal display of files, in which larger files appear as larger, colored squares.[3]
