Volantis Capital Management (also referred to as Volantis) is an American private investment firm headquartered in Palo Alto, California and Boston, Massachusetts.[1][2] The firm invests in technology companies, with a focus on sectors including artificial intelligence and computing infrastructure.[1]

[edit]Volantis Capital Management is registered as a limited liability company and describes itself as a private investment firm pursuing opportunities in frontier technology companies.[2] According to Private Equity International, the firm is based between Boston and Silicon Valley.[1]
Investments
[edit]In May 2026, Volantis Capital Management was among the investors in a US$300 million funding round for Decart AI, an artificial intelligence company developing real-time world models. The round was led by Radical Ventures at a reported valuation of approximately US$4 billion, with participants including Nvidia, Sequoia Capital, and Benchmark.[3]
In July 2026, the firm participated in the first close of a US$1 billion Series F financing for SambaNova Systems, an artificial intelligence chip company, at a valuation of US$11 billion. The round was led by General Atlantic, with other participants including T. Rowe Price, BlackRock, Vista Equity Partners, and the Qatar Investment Authority.[4][5][6]
