Biography

Utpal Mena was born on 7 November, 1970 in Belsor, Nalbari district of Assam, India. He began his professional journey in 1990 and has since been involved in journalism, editing, and film criticism.

Professional career

Mena has contributed to several Assamese newspapers and magazines over the years. His work includes editorial and critical writing in publications such as Axomiya Pratidin and other regional media outlets.

He has also served in editorial leadership roles in magazines including Chitrabaan and Bixex. In addition, he worked as Featuring Editor of Pratyahbaan.
