Topistar Di Congo (born Biluge Birhakabulirwa Christophe; 5 May 2005) is a Congolese entrepreneur, creative director, and fashion designer based in Uganda.[1] He is the founder of TDC Creatives, an organization that supports youth projects across media, music, and community development.[2]
Early life
[edit]Topistar Di Congo was born in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1] Following conflict in eastern DRC, his family relocated to the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement in Uganda.[3][4] After serving as a youth leader in the settlement, he moved to Kampala, where he established TDC Creatives.[3][2]
Family background
[edit]Topistar Di Congo is the ninth of ten children born to Juslain Birhakabulirwa Barhongo and Furah Badesire Kagayo Jusian.[5] His father worked in education and business, while his mother worked in entrepreneurship and traditional medicine.[5]
