Terryon Ishmael Thomas, known online as Mr. Prada or Mr. Prada 456, is an American social media influencer and TikTok personality. He gained popularity beginning in late 2022 for his comedic skits and Gen Z culture. In October 2024, Thomas was arrested in connection with the death of Baton Rouge therapist William Nicholas Abraham, and was subsequently indicted on charges of first-degree murder.
Career
[edit]Thomas began posting on TikTok in December 2022, quickly accumulating a large following for comedic and relatable content.[1] Thomas became notorious on the platform for allegedly recreating other creators' videos shot for shot. Several creators publicly called him out for the practice, but Thomas's unapologetic response spawned an internet meme in which users referred to themselves as "Mr. Prada victims."[1]
In the period leading up to his arrest, followers noted changes in his behavior and content–he uploaded a video showing he had shaved his head and eyebrows.[1]
Death of William Nicholas Abraham
[edit]On September 29, 2024, the body of William Nicholas Abraham, 69, a Baton Rouge therapist. The coroner ruled his death a homicide by blunt force trauma.[2]
Thomas became a suspect after being spotted on CCTV driving Abraham's stolen car. Surveillance footage had shown Abraham entering Thomas's apartment the previous morning and not leaving; witnesses reported seeing Thomas drag a tarp to Abraham's vehicle.[3]
On January 16, 2025, a grand jury indicted Thomas on charges of first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, aggravated criminal damage to property, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.[4] He was denied bond in July 2025.[5]
