TerraTern is an Indian immigration and global talent mobility company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The company provides services related to immigration, overseas employment and study abroad, including visa consultation, job-search assistance, language preparation and post-arrival support.[1]
TerraTern operates through TerraTern Private Limited, an Indian private company incorporated on 27 February 2024 and registered with the Registrar of Companies in Bengaluru. Corporate records list Divyansh Chaudhari and Pragya Yadav as directors.[2]
History
[edit]TerraTern was founded in 2024 by entrepreneur Divyansh Chaudhari. According to an interview with Entrepreneurs Today, Chaudhari established the company after identifying what he described as fragmentation and a lack of personalised guidance in the immigration and study-abroad sector.[1]
Before establishing TerraTern, Divyansh worked in the education technology sector and was associated with IELTSMaterial and CollegeDekho. Entrepreneurs Today reported that he had previously served as vice president at CollegeDekho and had worked on businesses including IELTSMaterial and CollegeDekhoAbroad.[1]
TerraTern subsequently expanded its services to include immigration consultation, overseas employment and study-abroad assistance. In 2025, the company announced programmes aimed at connecting Indian professionals with employment opportunities overseas, including a programme for Indian nurses seeking employment in Germany.[3]
Services
[edit]TerraTern provides immigration consultation and related services for people seeking to work, study or settle abroad. Its services include visa consultation, immigration pathway assessment, study-abroad assistance, job-search assistance, language preparation, interview preparation and post-arrival support.[1]
The company lists immigration programmes covering countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States. Its website categorises programmes into skilled migration, sponsored work, family, visitor, study, business and investment, and other visa categories.[4]
The company also provides services to employers seeking workers from India. TerraTern describes this service as connecting employers with language-trained and visa-ready candidates for international employment.[5]
Technology
[edit]TerraTern incorporates software and artificial intelligence into some of its immigration and employment services. Its platform includes an eligibility assessment tool and other technology-based services for visa planning and international employment.[1]
In 2025, the company announced an AI-based eligibility checker and a mock visa-interview platform intended to help applicants assess their eligibility and prepare for immigration interviews.[6]
International employment programmes
[edit]TerraTern has developed programmes intended to connect Indian professionals with overseas employers. In 2025, the company launched a programme focused on Indian nurses seeking employment in Germany and other European countries.[3]
In May 2026, Business Standard reported on a survey conducted by TerraTern concerning preferences among students from smaller Indian cities for overseas education. The survey reported that Germany was preferred by a majority of respondents, with affordability, employment opportunities and migration pathways cited among the factors considered by respondents.[7]
