TCI Express Limited is an Indian courier and express logistics company based in Gurugram, Haryana. It was founded in 1996 as TCI XPS, an express cargo division of the Transport Corporation of India.[1]
History
[edit]In 2015, the board of Transport Corporation of India approved the spin-off of its express cargo business into a separate company, TCI Express Limited.[2][3] The demerger took effect in 2016, and the company listed its shares on the National Stock Exchange of India and the BSE in December 2016.[4]
Operations
[edit]The company provides express parcel delivery and cargo transport across India, using road, air, and rail transport networks.[5] It operates automated sorting centers in Gurugram and Pune.[6]
