sunkis (stylized in lowercase: born Christopher Sung, Chinese: 宋秉勤; pinyin: Sòng Bǐngqín) is a Taiwanese-American singer and songwriter.[1] He records in both English and Mandarin and works in contemporary R&B and Mandopop.[2]

Early life

Sung was born in San Francisco, California.[3] He later lived in Taipei, Taiwan, including during high school.[4] He has spoken about growing up with both American and Chinese cultural influences.[5]

Career

Sunski dropped his debut single "I Could" on 25 Oct 2019 and his hit 2021 single "Trust Me" soon became viral throughout Chinese speaking markets and beyond.[6] Last Goodbye and Top Tier are amongst his other singles along with his recent collaboration with J. Tajor: "Like I Do".[7] He has released Mandarin language songs, as well as performed at Head in the Clouds Festival among other gigs.[8]
