STRETCHIT is an application dedicated to stretching, flexibility, and mobility. [1]. The app was launched in 2016 by two sisters and co-founders, Natasha Nikolaeva and Marina Skladchikova.[2]

Overview

[edit]

STRETCHIT offers content for beginners and users with prior stretching experience.[2] The application is available on iOS, Android, and the web.[3] The app includes goal setting, personalized training programs, progress tracking, and reminder notifications.[3]

Features

[edit]

Exercise guidance

[edit]

Video classes are led by instructors who provide movement guidance and modifications. Videos use multiple camera angles to demonstrate correct body positioning.[1]

Personalised program

[edit]

The programs are goal-oriented, so users can choose what they’d like to focus on, and the app will create a personalized program tailored to their goals.[4]

Class picking

[edit]

Users may select classes manually or complete a questionnaire that includes skill level, training goals, and preferred class duration. Based on the responses, the app recommends classes.[5] Classes can also be filtered by duration and difficulty level. [6]

Offline access

[edit]

Classes can be downloaded and accessed without an internet connection.[6]

Progress tracking

[edit]

The app maintains a history of completed classes.[3] The app also tracks training hours and calories burned.[5] Users can upload progress photos.[4]

Reminder notifications

[edit]

The application supports push notifications to prompt users to stretch at set times.[2]
