'Sochani is a village in Dadyal Tehsil of Mirpur District, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir identifies Sochani as a locality within Dadyal Tehsil, Mirpur District.[2]

According to the 1998 village list for Mirpur District, Sochani had a population of 536.[1]

Notable people

  • Shak Khan (Raja Sony Palwan), a professional wrestler, is from the village of Sochani near Dadyal. Khan has described leaving Sochani for the United Kingdom when he was five years old.[3][4]
