Joshua Robert Temple (born 16 May 1997), known online as Slogo (formerly Slogoman), is a English Youtuber known for his gaming videos on games such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Minecraft, Fortnite etc.[1]
Early life
[edit]Joshua Robert Temple was born on 16 May 1997, in Farnham, Surrey, England.[2]
Career
[edit]First Channel
[edit]Temple started recording videos in 2012 on a channel called "Oxymoras", where him and his friend NichRezzed would play random games and narrate the gameplay. In 2013, Temple announced he would stop uploading to Oxymoras and create a new channel called Slogoman. Temple created Slogoman on 4 August 2013.
Slogoman & Robust
[edit]Temple's first Slogoman video was released in 2013, where he played Grand Theft Auto 5 by himself, with no facecam.[3] In 2014, Temple became friends with Dutch Youtubers Jelly and Kwebbelkop, their group later being called "Robust". Temple filmed with the two until 2019, where Kwebbelkop departed the group due to mental health issues.[4] In 2019, Temple and Jelly recruited a new member of the group, Crainer, and the three would begin to make videos together. In 2020, Temple would shorten the name of his channel from Slogoman to just Slogo. In 2022, Crainer would leave the group due to alcoholism, the death of his dad, and his wife and him divorcing.[5] From 2022 to 2023, Temple and Jelly would record together, but in 2024, Crainer would return, and the three would record together again, until 2024, where Jelly would announce he was leaving the group.[6]
New Group, Crainer Departure, and New Friends
[edit]In 2025, one year after Jelly's departure, Slogo would create a new group with Crainer, Finoggin, Stubaroo, Rishy, and Victoar called "Boyfriends". The five would create videos and play games together, but around 2 months after this new group was formed, Crainer announced he would be leaving again.[7]
As of 2026, Slogo stands at 11.7 million subscribers and 9 billion views.
