SkinInspired is an Indian skincare brand founded in 2022 and headquartered in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The company develops skincare products formulated for South Asian skin types, with a product range that includes face wash, serums, sunscreen, and moisturisers.
Founding
[edit]SkinInspired was co-founded by Piyush Jain and Dr. Prashant Agrawal. Jain previously worked as Sales Director at Procter & Gamble India and holds a management degree from MDI Gurgaon. Agrawal is a board-certified dermatologist with over 19 years of clinical experience and serves as the company's Chief Product Officer.
Funding
[edit]In July 2024, SkinInspired raised ₹12.25 crore (approximately $1.5 million) in a seed funding round led by Unilever Ventures, with participation from angel investor Arjun Vaidya.[1][2]
In December 2025, the company raised ₹24 crore in a Series A funding round led by Spring Marketing Capital, with participation from Lotus Herbals' Beauty Innovation Fund and Unilever Ventures.[3]
Recognition
[edit]In 2024, SkinInspired won the Grow category award at the Beauty&You India awards, a programme organised by the Estée Lauder Companies and Nykaa to support emerging Indian beauty entrepreneurs. The award included a prize of ₹1.25 crore.[4][5]
