Simon Chandler MLA is a Canadian politician who has served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (MLA) representing the electoral district of Burnaby North since 2026. He is a member of the Conservative Party.

Early career and education

Chandler graduated from Trinity Western University with a bachelor of business administration (BBA) in accounting. After graduating, Simon attended the Laurentian Leadership Centre in Ottawa, studying good governance and the legacies of Canada’s prime ministers while interning as a policy analyst in the food and beverage industry.[1][2]

Political career

Chandler first ran unsuccessfully as a candidate for the BC Conservatives in the 2024 general election, running in the electoral district of Burnaby East.[2] He was defeated by New Democratic candidate Rohini Arora.[3]

In September 2026, Chandler ran as a candidate for the BC Conservatives in the 2026 general election running in the electoral district of Burnaby North.[1]
