Saurabh Masurkar is an Indian corporate trainer, behavioural coach, and alternative healing practitioner based in Mumbai. He is a co-founder of Cold Lava Studio, a crystal and Theta healing studio, and a recipient of the REX Karmaveer Chakra Award.
Early life
[edit]Masurkar grew up in Mulund, Mumbai, where he developed an early interest in crystals and minerals in childhood, later expanding this knowledge through independent study.[1]
Career

[edit]Masurkar has worked as a corporate trainer and behavioural coach for over 22 years, including work as a voice and accent coach and freelance consultant trainer.[2]
Cold Lava Studio
[edit]In 2021, Masurkar co-founded Cold Lava Studio with Priyanka Mehta and Anil Manghani. The studio, based in Mulund East, Mumbai, offers crystal products and services including tarot reading, Theta healing, and chakra healing.[3] Masurkar is a certified crystal healer, tarot card reader, and coach.[4]
Podcast and media appearances
[edit]Masurkar has appeared as a guest on NavaRashtra, discussing tarot cards and crystal healing, among other media appearances.[5][6][7]
Awards and recognition
[edit]In the 2025–2026 season, Masurkar received the REX Karmaveer Chakra Award (Bronze Medal), presented by iCONGO in partnership with the United Nations.[8] He also received a separate Blue Medal presented in partnership with Color Positive Foundation, recognising his support for LGBTQIA+ mental health.
Masurkar is also a trained Kathak dancer under Guru Shashilata Gupta, in the Banaras-Lucknow style, and performed at the 2025–2026 Karmaveer Chakra Award ceremony.
