Rupyz is based in Gurugram, Haryana, and develops software for business-to-business commerce and distribution.[1] News reports published in 2024 described Rupyz as having been founded in 2019, while the company and the startup-data platform Tracxn give its founding year as 2018.[1][3]

At the time of the 2024 funding round, Rupyz reported a network of around 85 brands, more than 6,500 distributors and over 250,000 retailers.[4][2] According to the startup-data platform Tracxn, the company had raised about US$1.62 million across three funding rounds as of 2024.[3]
