Rayson HI-TECH (SZ) Co., Ltd. is a Chinese national high-tech computer memory company founded in 2016. The company specializes in the design, research and development, packaging, testing, and global distribution of advanced semiconductor memory solutions.[1]

In 2020, Rayson merged with Artmem Technology (Chinese: 妙存科技).[2] Through this subsidiary, the company develops its own independent flash memory controller chips and firmware.[3][2]

  • 2016: The company was founded as Shenzhen Rayson Technology Co., Ltd., establishing its corporate headquarters in Shenzhen, Guangdong.[2]
  • 2018: Rayson established a dedicated semiconductor storage testing facility in Shenzhen and developed its own proprietary testing software.[2]
  • 2020: The company merged with Artmem Technology, integrating flash memory controller chip R&D and firmware development into its core ecosystem. The same year, Rayson launched its first storage products equipped with its self-developed embedded controllers.[2]
  • 2021: Rayson expanded into the industrial and automotive sectors, commencing mass shipments of industrial- and automotive-grade storage products.[2]
  • 2023: Mass production and commercial shipment of LPDDR5/5X memory modules began. Additionally, its subsidiary, Artmem Technology, was recognized as a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise by the Chinese government for its specialized technological innovation.[2]
  • 2024: The company achieved mass production of its self-developed UFS controller chips and UFS storage modules. Rayson opened a second storage testing factory in Zhongshan and ranked as a top independent vendor by global shipment volume for LPDDR products.[2]
  • 2025: Cumulative shipments of storage devices utilizing Rayson's self-developed eMMC controller chips surpassed 100 million units. Artmem Technology was further elevated to a key national "Little Giant" enterprise status.[2]
