Prof. Dr. Raquel Zita Gomes , DMD, MSc, PhD(born 27 March 1977) is a Portuguese oral surgeon, dental researcher, and university professor.[1] She specializes in Implantology and Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR), conducting clinical research on biomaterials and immediate loading protocols.[2] In 2020, she was named among the World's Top 100 Doctors in Dentistry by the Global Summits Institute.[3][4]

Returning to Portugal, she earned her specialization certificate (2003–2006) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Implantology from the University of Porto (2006–2007). She is a highly active keynote speaker on the global circuit, with significant demand in the United States and the United Kingdom. Her international lectures focus on advanced protocols for atrophic jaws management and immediate loading rehaibilatons.
