The Rapidan Dam Store is a long time, family owned restaurant and general store located in Southern Minnesota, near Mankato. It's a historical site that originates all the way back to 1910, and was located on the Blue Earth River.[1] It was owned and operated by the Hruska family since 1972. They are famously known for burgers, shakes and homemade pies.[2] The historical society documents it's connection to the dam, Red Jacket Trail, biking trails, and recreation.[3] After severe flooding in June, 2024 that threatened erosion on the building, Blue Earth County bought and demolished the building on June 28, 2024, as a safety measure.[4] The business than relocated on South Front Street, located downtown Mankato in October, 2024.
