Ramu Upadhaya is an Indian writer and poet based at Haflong in the district of Dima Hasao, Assam, India, born to a Nepali speaking Brahmin couple - Pitambar and Nandakala (Bawni) Upadhaya of the village Bhanjang Basti, Haflong.[1].[2]
Early Life and Biography
[edit]Ramu Upadhaya did his schooling at District Council Colony LP School and Government Boys' High School, Haflong, and graduation from Haflong Government College affiliated under Gauhati University. He also holds a Diploma and Certificate Courses in Public Relations and Journalism respectively. His writings appeared in various local and national periodicals like Eastern Panorama, Pine Queen, The North East Sun, North Cachar Express, Diphu Times, and others.[3][4][5][6]
