RDX Sports is a British combat sports and fitness equipment brand, headquartered in Manchester, United Kingdom. The company designs, manufactures, and supplies gear for boxing, mixed martial arts, Judo, Kickboxing, Savate, Sambo, Muay Thai, and fitness. Its products are distributed through retail and wholesale markets across Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. RDX operates regional warehouses in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates to facilitate distribution and fulfilment.[1]
History
[edit]RDX Sports was founded in Manchester, United Kingdom, in 1999 by Ahtesham Sadiq[2] as a boxing gear brand. The company initially operated from a single warehouse in Bury, Manchester, serving customers in the United Kingdom and much of Europe.[3]
During the 2000s, RDX expanded its product line beyond boxing to include gear for mixed martial arts, Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, karate, and general fitness activities.
Partnerships with retailers such as Argos, Shop Direct, and international gyms and academies extended its reach.
The company later developed in-house manufacturing capabilities and established a vertically integrated model covering production, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
Its products are currently distributed across a number of regions worldwide through retail and wholesale partnerships.
