Patrick Thomas Julianelle, (born November 25, 1988), known online as PopularMMOs, is an American YouTuber known for his Minecraft content. He was arrested in 2024 for resisting an officer with violence and possession of cannabis.

Internet career

PopularMMOs launched his YouTube channel on April 17, 2012, uploading RuneScape and World of Warcraft videos, later making his first Minecraft video in June of 2012, later becoming one of Minecraft's top creators on YouTube.^[1] PopularMMOs was one of the top 100 gaming channels in 2015.^[2]

Legal controversies

In March 2024, police responded to a welfare check and found PopularMMOs lying on the side of a street near a neighborhood. Following the interaction, PopularMMOs was arrested for resisting an officer with violence and possession of cannabis.^[3] Bodycam footage was later released of his arrest.^[4]

Books

In 2017, PopularMMOs published a novel alongside HarperCollins titled "A Hole New World."^[5]
