Dr. Paul Inthaseni (Thai: พอล อินทเสนี, RTGSPhon Inthaseni) is a Thai financial executive, businessman, investor, and entrepreneur. He is the current President and Chief Executive Officer of Century R Company Limited [1][2].He has worked in banking, private wealth management, and investment advisory roles across Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore.[3][4]

Early life and education

Inthaseni was born and raised in Thailand. He first went to college at Assumption University in Bangkok, where he got a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After that, he moved to Melbourne to study at Swinburne University of Technology. There, he obtained a master's degree in Business Administration. When he came back to Thailand, he went to Eastern Asia University for his doctorate and earned a Ph.D. in Public Administration.[5]

Career

Inthaseni started his career in 1998 as an analyst at Lehman Brothers, working in Hong Kong and Thailand. This gave him early experience in international capital markets, which is part of the investment banks on Wall Street. After that, he moved to commercial banking in Thailand, where he held management roles at Siam Commercial Bank in international banking and cash management, and later worked in corporate banking at Bangkok Bank.

In 2003, he switched to private wealth management and joined Citibank Thailand as an Assistant Vice President. He later became Vice President at HSBC Thailand and was promoted to Executive Director at HSBC Private Bank in Singapore.[6]

In 2008, Inthaseni started his own company called Century R Company Limited in Bangkok, where he still serves as President and Chief Executive Officer.[7][8]

He has also worked with Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (MQDC), a real estate company based in Thailand, where he took part in activities related to investment and development.[9][10][11]

From 2014 to 2015, Inthaseni worked as an advisor in the Thai government, helping the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labour as and the Secretary General of the Social Security Office.[12]Inthaseni was appointed as a Senior Advisor to the Labour Commission of Thailand on 2023.[13]

He also served on the investment advisory board of MCOT, which is Thailand's state broadcasting organization. In 2021, he advised members of the Thai Parliament on the infrastructure project.[14]
