Operation7 is an online first-person shooter videogame developed by ParkESM for Windows. It was first released on 22 December of the year 2008.[1]
The game was originally distributed in Latin America by Axeso5, and was later transferred to Softnyx.[2] In Europe, it was distributed by FIAA, later by MGame and subsequently by Netgame.[3][4] In the Philippines, the game was launched by X-Play, a venture involving IP eGame Ventures and GMA New Media.[5] In Brazil, it was distributed by Kaybo1.[6]
Gameplay
[edit]The action game can be controlled with a keyboard and mouse. TThe use of mouse and keyboard follows the now-classic rules of first-person shooters.[7]
Each players can customise theirs weapons with attachments such as scopes, silencers and grips, and can also change character appearance. It is also an aspect that is already deeply rooted in first-person shooters.[8][5]

[edit]The game was offered in diferents markets, as Latin America, Europe, the Philippines and Brazil.[5][2]
Game modes
[edit]Operation7 supports both individual matches and team-based play, with teams of up to 12 players. It´s game modes include Deathmatch, Headhunting; Survival, Demolition and Hold the Line.[9] By the other hand, the game also includes maps for Leader Mode, Death Match, Survival, Demolition, Hold the Line and Gold Rush.[10]
Clan War
[edit]Clan War is a match between two clans. A player must be a member of a clan in order to participate. A Clan War can be played when each side has at least three players, and both sides must have the same number of players. The modes available for Clan War are Survival and Demolition.
Virtual currencies
[edit]The game has a three-currency system:
1) SN$ is the game's premium currency, obtained with real-money. It can be used for equipment, weapons, special ammunition and upgrades.[7]
2) Gold functions as the standard currency earned by participating in matches. Players can spend it on weapons available for their level, along with ammunition and clothing for character customisation.[7]
3) ZET: It is earned in zombie mode and can be exchanged for items and equipment, including[Night vision device, special weapond an land mine[7]
Related titles
[edit]A secuel named Operation7 II: Rise of Condota, was planned as the successor if the game. Development was put on pause in tha year 2016 while his autor, Park, shifted its atention to Operation7 Revolution, other planned secuel.[11]
