NGC 2048 is a Emission Nebula in the Dorado constellation and the NGC 2048 is situated of the south celestial equator. t's so more easily from the southern hemisphere. Visual magnitute of this nebula is 12.17, NGC 2048 is visible with the help of the telescope an apperance of 8 inches[1].It's a EN+* type of galaxy. It was discovered by a James Dunlop in 1826.
