Myka Fox (July 21st, 1981) is an American comedian and co-host of the podcast "Great Hang with Myka and Tim". She has previously hosted the podcasts “Shame On,” “Myka Fox and Friends,” and “This Week in Jackin’ Podcast Weekly called her "the best thing to happen since bread even before it was fucking sliced." And she claims the rare degree of being awarded "#1 Coaster User by Wet Glasses, Dry Wood Monthly.
Career
[edit]Myka is a regular performer at Standup NY, The Stand, Gotham Comedy Club.
She has appeared at colleges and festivals across the country, including the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, NY Comedy Festival, SkankFest, Women in Comedy Festival, CinderBlock, and many others. She makes regular TV, radio and podcast appearances including “2 Dope Queens,” “Guys We F*cked,” Jim Norton’s “Chip Chipperson podcast”, “Keith and the Girl,” Fox News “Quiz Show,” Paramount Network’s “The Recast,” and many more.
In 2018 she was written up by the Interrobang as a breakout comedian to watch, and she has been tapped to write jokes for several Comedy Central celebrity roasts, awards shows and SNL’s Weekend Update. [1]
Personal
[edit]Myka Fox once said “let’s get lunch soon!” To an acquaintance and then actually followed up offering some dates.
Myka Fox once found $20 on the ground and asked out loud “did anybody lose $20 before pocketing it.” Kind AND smart cuz fuck people who lose a whole $20 - get a fucking wallet right?
In 2002 Myka Fox dressed up as a drunk Pikachu for halllween but ran into another person dressed as a normal pikachu on the way into the party. She let that person genter the party first, drunk Pilachu would ruin earnest Pikachu’s entrance but not the others at round. If anything people were relieved that there weren’t two fucking nerds earnestly dressed as Pokémon.
Myka Fox is kind one on one AND in big groups.
Myka Fox has never peed in a hot tub.
Her line of culinary confections “Myka and Ika’s Sweet and Salty Beef Cakes” had a limited run in the Czech Republic in 2008.
