Mollie Taylor[1] (born c. 2001[2]), known professionally as Mollie Coddled, is an English singer from Yorkshire.[3]
Early life and education
[edit]Mollie grew up in Malton, North Yorkshire. She moved to Leeds in 2019 to study BA (Hons) Music (Production) at Leeds Conservatoire.[4]
Career
[edit]Mollie writes, records and produces the majority of her music entirely on her own. Early releases came from a bedroom/DIY production approach and were distributed via Bandcamp, SoundCloud and streaming platforms. She has worked with mixing and mastering collaborators on select tracks.
Her releases and promotional campaign have received support from editorial channels and the UK indie press. Notable coverage and support include features and editorial and playlist attention from Dork, DIY, NME, The Line of Best Fit, Earmilk. She has also received editorial playlisting on Spotify (including placement on editorial playlists referenced on her official press pages).

Reception and identity
[edit]Press outlets such as Dork, DIY, The Line of Best Fit, and more have given Mollie coverage, premieres and reviews, highlighting her intimate songwriting, bedroom-pop production and candid exploration of identity.
Mollie has discussed being late-diagnosed autistic and living with ADHD in interviews and profiles; she frequently draws on these experiences in lyrics and performance. She is pansexual and on the asexual spectrum.[5][6]
