Mohammed Moussa (Arabic: محمد موسى; born 1993) is a Palestinian writer, poet, editor and podcaster from the Gaza Strip. His debut book of poetry, Salted Wounds (2022) was published by Drunk Muse Press, Scotland in 2023. He was born in Jabalia refugee camp in 1993.
In 2015 he graduated from Al-Azhar University of Gaza with a BA in English Literature. During the 2014 Gaza War when he began his career in journalism and reported for international and local news services. He is the founder and editor of the first spoken-word community in Gaza, The Gaza Poet's Society .
In 2016, Moussa was a recipient of the Richard Beeston Bursary and worked at the foreign desk of The Times [1] in London.
He has published several collections including I was born in Gaza (2020),[2] Flamingo (2021)[3] and The face before you (forthcoming Leamington Books 2026). He is currently in exile in Turkey.
