Mitratech has expanded through a series of acquisitions across legal technology, GRC, and HR software. In 2015, it acquired Bridgeway Software[5] and CaseTrack.[6] In 2018, it acquired ThinkSmart.[7] In 2020, the company acquired Tracker, a provider of immigration compliance software[8]; Acuity ELM[citation needed]; and INSZoom, an immigration case management platform.[9] In 2021, it acquired AdvanceLaw, a legal spend analytics platform.[10] In 2024, it acquired HotDocs, a document automation software provider,[11] and Advologix.
