Logan Keagan Dobbs (born 21 September 2006) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for EFL League Two club Gillingham.

Career

[edit]

Dobbs was previously a youth player with Ipswich Town before joining the Gillingham academy.[1]

In March 2025, Dobbs joined Burgess Hill Town on loan. He made ten appearances during the closing stages of the season and played every minute of the club's successful play-off campaign as Burgess Hill won promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division.[2] Following the season, he signed his first professional contract with Gillingham.[3]

Dobbs joined Welling United on loan in August 2025.[4] While on loan, he returned to Gillingham to make his first-team debut on 2 September, starting an EFL Trophy match against Fulham U21 and scoring the opening goal in a 4–1 victory.[5] Further loan spells with Tonbridge Angels and Ramsgate followed during the 2025–26 season.[1][3]

Dobbs became more closely involved with the Gillingham first team at the beginning of the 2026–27 season.[6] He made his Football League debut as a substitute against Walsall on 15 August 2026.[7] A week later, he made his first league start in place of the injured Liam Gordon and helped Gillingham keep a clean sheet in a 0–0 draw away to Fleetwood Town.[6] He scored his first league goal against Tranmere Rovers in a 2–0 victory and his performance earned him a place in the EFL team of the week.[8]
