Levinyous Jayden Oumant (born November 26, 2006), known professionally as Lil Detree, is an American rapper, singer, and record producer. Oumant rose to prominence, starting his career in 2018, beginning his music passion in online marketing, including his SoundCloud fan base, later was recorded of him rapping in class with his classmates.
Throughout his career of joining the underground production, he released his first studio album, ColanderRomani, in July 2021, promising the single "9xan", leaked in February 2019. In August 2021, he released his second album Jaultier. Soon afterwards during COVID, Oumant later associated with the collective Jewelxxet, which he was later banished, due to his legal actions. Following his popularity, he went successfully viral with his song "Stacking My Money", on June 2025, leading a one year ago song. After his popularizations, Oumant announced and released his third studio album Baby Sliver in July 20, 2026, and surprised his two mixtapes Backstage Jayden and Shoes, on August 2, 2026.
Early life
[edit]Levinyous Jayden Oumant was born on November 26, 2006, in Richmond, Virginia. He has four siblings and one brother. Growing up, Oumant began interested with music at a young age, proclaiming his passion throughout inspiration to singers Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber. Detree then was forced by his mother to attended middle school, in a lower level class, but his friend was recording him doing a freestyle in filmography class. After his experience, Oumant then attended high school, where he had to stop focusing on his disorder issues, and later moved to Acworth, Georgia, brought a new house at the age of 14.
Career
[edit]2018–2019: Early career and musical beginnings
[edit]During middle school, Oumant began his career after his friend recorded him doing a freestyle in filmography class, before he had focused on disorder issues. He began recording and uploading early tracks, independently on SoundCloud in 2018, previous on his introduction song "Hello", and was at least getting popularity. On February 14, 2019, Oumant recorded the song "9xan", and saved the file on Google Drive, when hackers shared Oumant's name before releasing it. This leak was focusing to Oumant, when he significantly started his career.
2020–2021: ColanderRomani, Jaultier, and more projects
[edit]On March 29, 2020, Oumant announced his resignation song "Come In", and it became comments of "the most trap song", before it was deleted as a copyright infringement. Oumant then officially signed into Warner Records, when he reissued his albums, he released his first studio album ColanderRomani, on July 20, 2021, and it was featured with two tracks, mainly his 2019 single "9xan". Around the same year in August, Oumant released his second album Jaultier and featured with three tracks. These albums were in a confusion, because Oumant stated that he was going to release two of his projects as his EP, and releasing more singles to this album. Oumant released his mixtapes KashWorld and Skypeline, later in 2022.
2022–2023: I Care So Much I Never Choose
[edit]While dropping out of high school, Oumant became interested with music, after he was influenced by Michael Jackson, leading to releasing his music on SoundCloud with his friends on the communication app Discord. In 2023, rapper ColanXP introduced Oumant with Georgia rapper ReallyMarck. In 2024, Following the success, a snippet of the song "Orange", was leading to a remix that was featured in a Twitter posted video. Oumant was associated with the sigilkore collective Jewelxxet, but was later kicked out by his advances.
2025–2026: "Stacking My Money", Baby Sliver, Backstage Jayden, and Shoes
[edit]On July 8, 2025, Soon after his popularization in the underground of the hip-hop community, Oumant announces his third upcoming debut studio album Backstage Jayden, previewing 14 tracks and it was supported by at least three singles, including "Interestinglyinacouldson", "67Drank", and "Fuck With Many N*ggas." The album was listed to the popular albums since the track "Stacking My Money" was released on June 2025.
On July 13, 2025, Oumant announced his third studio album on Instagram. On July 14, Oumant teamed up with GhettoRomani to release "HTO". On July 16, 2025, Oumant released a five-track mixtape, titled Shoes, which featured tracks "Nametag" and "My Hoe".
On July 18, 2025, Oumant was featured in a single "Underwear" with ColanXP. On July 19, 2026, Oumant announced that his third album, Baby Sliver, would drop on July 20, 2026, following a delay.
Following the announcement, Oumant made his second runway to Yung Corleezy. In July 20, Oumant would release the album following his word. On July 21, 2026, Oumant released a compilation album, titled Melly Helly, exclusively on a reuploaded SoundCloud, during his commercial production process of his first solo release. Oumant announced that a collaborative EP with Yung Corleezy, titled Retaur would be on the way. On July 3, 2026, Oumant's Melly Helly would officially release onto platforms.
On August 2, 2026, after a few days of his album release, Oumant released his two mixtapes Backstage Jayden and Shoes. Following the reissue, Oumant's music account was hacked.

Oumant's music was heavily concentrated and influenced with micro-genres, which explores hip-hop, trap, rage, hyperpop, lo-fi, emo rap, and electronic. However, his genre was popularity classified as plugg music. He has been compared to other most popular artists, who inspired him to release early work to his song, which other critics stated that he was above the internet rap. It has been also noted that Oumant raps with his electronic and robotic voice, with an accompanying emphasis sound with galaxy. Previewing his third studio album Baby Sliver in the "Certified Crisis", it can hear Oumant using a normal deep voice, basses into maximalist production, in a "volatility" of his emotions of signing. Oumant sometimes says the same words in every song, but constantly trying to get his attention to join the underground scene. Oumant was associated with mainstream artists, such as XXXTentacion, but including, Playboi Carti, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Travis Scott, Lil Durk, Lil Tecca, and Kanye West, who provides him his mainly physical appearances.
Personal life
[edit]Lil Detree was born on November 26, 2006, in Richmond, Virginia, but later moved to Acworth, Georgia. He spends 20 years of his life and his feature childhood as watching shows as a kid. Detree was signed to Warner Records. Oumant had gained supportive reception to the character Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, and stated that it was his "most important and achievable character” in all of time. Detree mostly focused on his own early work for his music.
Notable feuds
[edit]In July 2026, Oumant began having notable problems throughout his music career, he and a rapper Yvngxcoco were having a feud over with diss tracks against each other, which leads the track "Grown Ass Man", when Oumant dissed Yvngxcoco, stated that his song "Returned" was full of lies, promising to be true. Yvngxcoco respond that he was using Lil Baby's type beat of the song "2040", with Lil Durk. The controversy was surrounding by social media and continued to spread in the form of the allegations came out.
Sexual assault allegations
[edit]On December 14, 2024, a filed lawsuit was against on Oumant, after he was accused of sexual assault and raping an 14-year old woman on Discord. The following of the situation happened, it was one of Oumant's songs "Hashtag 4ver" was included to the lyrics "I fucked a girl in a studio, bitch, I hit her, do not give a fuck about niggas, she don’t even care", which leads to the allegations happened in a soundproof studio room. Oumant's lawyer Jack Shan denied these accusations and told Oumant to defend himself in court, a file "malicious prosecution" once he prevailed. Oumant stated that was allegedly drunk before it was discovered, that made an appearance on the allegations that came out. On December 23, 2024, after the lawsuit ended, Oumant was taken into custody and he was charged with aggravated battery and assault.
