James Warren FBA is a British academic and classical philosopher. He is Professor of Ancient Philosophy at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.[1]

As an undergraduate and postgraduate student, Warren studied in the Faculty of Classics at Clare College, Cambridge between 1992 and 1999, where he took the intensive Greek course.[1] He was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in July 2026.[2]
