He initially studied music in Athens at the Hellenic Conservatory. On a scholarship from the USSR government, during the period of actually existing socialism, he pursued studies at the Faculty of History of Musical Theory and Composition at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, earning a Diploma and a Master of Fine Arts specializing in Musicology, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Musicology.

At the age of twenty, he participated in Nikos Tzimas' feature film "The Man with the Carnation," appearing in the execution scene of Nikos Beloyannis and his comrades, Batsis, Kaloumenos, and Argyriadis.

In 1989, he founded the "Mousaio" Arts Bureau, through which he organized and co-organized classical music concerts featuring world-class soloists and orchestras. These performances took place at iconic venues, including the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Athens Concert Hall, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Ancient Stadium of Delphi, the "Parnassos" Literary Society, the Benaki Museum in Athens, the Duchess of Plaisance Mansion, the Athens College Theater, the Homerion Cultural Center of Chios, and the Church of Saint Andrew in Patras, as well as in other regional Greek cities (Heraklion, Chania, Rhodes, Symi, Mytilene, Ioannina, Corfu, Kalamata, Kozani).

He contributed decisively to the recording of Manolis Kalomiris' opera "The Master Builder" (O Protomastoras), a lyric work based on the homonymous tragedy by the famous Greek author Nikos Kazantzakis. The recording took place in 1990, featuring the Soviet Cinema Orchestra, the Moscow Radio Choir, and distinguished Russian soloists.

He has also contributed to organizing masterclasses for young Greek artists with renowned soloists and educators, such as Vladimir Krainev, Ghena Dimitrova, Lazar Berman, Natalia Gutman, Nikolai Petrov, and Ivo Pogorelich.

He is a founding member of the Association of Friends of Traditional Architecture of Arcadia "Anthia tis Petras" (Flowers of the Stone).

He is a member of the Alumni Association of Soviet and Russian Higher Education Institutions.

He maintained significant trade union activity and was involved in local authority.

He has participated in major musicology conferences, and his scholarly papers have been published in Greek and Russian musicological journals.

As a specialized professor of Advanced Music Theory, he has endorsed more than 50 degrees in Harmony, Counterpoint, and Fugue.

His works are performed both in Greece and abroad.
