Fugitive from Asteron is an upcoming American science fiction adventure film directed by Dan T. Hall and written by Gen LaGreca. The film stars Henry Ian Cusick, Rory Gibson, Morgan Bradley, and Dean Cain. It is adapted from LaGreca's science fiction novel of the same name.[1]
Plot
[edit]The film follows Arial, a pilot from the oppressive planet Asteron who escapes by stealing the spacecraft of the planet's ruler, Feran. After arriving on a future Earth with a mysterious cargo aboard the ship, Arial adopts a new identity as Alexander.
While attempting to build a new life in a free society, Arial becomes the target of pursuit by Feran. With the help of Earth pilot Kristin Merrett, he attempts to uncover the truth behind the cargo and a larger plan that threatens Earth.

Production
[edit]Fugitive from Asteron was written by Gen LaGreca and directed by Dan T. Hall. Hall also served as producer and editor. Mark David served as cinematographer, while Vincent Albo served as production designer.
The film was produced by Winged Victory Foundation, Red Basket Films, and Vizmo Films. Gen LaGreca served as executive producer, with D. Paul Thomas and Jake Huber credited as associate producers.[2]
The production was filmed in Southern California and Central Indiana.[3]
Development
[edit]The film is based on Gen LaGreca's science fiction novel Fugitive from Asteron. LaGreca adapted the screenplay from her own work and developed the film through the Winged Victory Foundation, an organization founded to promote stories focused on freedom, personal achievement, and human potential.[1]
The project was announced with Henry Ian Cusick, Dean Cain, and Rory Gibson attached to star. The production was described as a science fiction drama featuring action, romance, and themes involving freedom and authoritarianism.[3]
