Fialkora Myndru is a Ukrainian clinical and rehabilitation psychologist whose professional work focuses on psychological trauma, trauma-informed care, rehabilitation, neurodiversity, and psychological adaptation to crisis conditions.

Education

Myndru graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with a degree in psychology. The university listed her among psychology graduates recognized for high academic achievement.

During her studies, she participated in academic research activities. The program of the university's 2019 Days of Science conference lists her presentation Theoretical Analysis of Coping Strategies of Individuals with Organic Brain Lesions.

She later completed professional training associated with Stanford Medicine, including training in Cue-Centered Therapy, an intervention used in work with psychological trauma.

In 2026, two of her works were listed in the official poster gallery of the Brain, Behavior, & Mind Spring Conference: Psychological Coping and Stress Resilience in Individuals Living with Multiple Sclerosis, authored by Myndru, and Living in Suspension: Dissociation as an Adaptive and Disruptive Response Among Neurodivergent Children and Families in Wartime Ukraine, co-authored with Danna Summers.

In May 2026, Myndru and Summers presented AI-Supported Narrative Processing in War-Affected Adolescents: Clinical Reflections from Trauma-Informed Practice in Ukraine during the virtual poster session of the 37th Annual Boston International Trauma Conference organized by the Trauma Research Foundation.

The conference was organized by the Trauma Research Foundation with psychiatrist Bessel van der Kolk and included specialists in trauma research and treatment.

At the American Psychological Association's APA 2026 convention, Myndru was the first-listed author and presenter of two works in the Division 56 Trauma Psychology Virtual Poster Session: Technology as a Therapeutic Bridge in Trauma Work With Neurodivergent Youth and Patterns at the Intersection of Neurodivergence, Trauma, and Displacement, both co-authored with Danna Summers.

Division 56, Trauma Psychology, provides a professional forum for research, education and practice related to traumatic stress.

As part of educational programming of the National Psychological Association of Ukraine, Myndru co-presented the webinar Leadership and Resilience in Times of Uncertainty with leadership specialist Mike Mears.

Mears previously served as Chief of Human Capital at the Central Intelligence Agency and founded and headed the CIA Leadership Academy.
