Comment: The sources given are mostly PR pieces in trade magazines; we need more independent coverage that isn't influenced by the company itself. grapesurgeon (talk) 14:38, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
Comment: The comment in your revision states you used Grammarly AI to rewrite this. That is not allowed. Also, if you are writing this assignment as part of an assignment (you mentioned your teacher), then please show them this page WP:ASSIGN Sulfurboy (talk) 09:59, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Filled with symptoms of LLM usage such as WP:OVERATTRIBUTION. Please remove all text from the draft and start over from a blank slate without LLMs. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 03:11, 28 June 2026 (UTC)

Extensiv, formerly 3PL Central, is an American software company that makes cloud-based warehouse management software for third-party logistics (3PL) companies.[1][2]
History
[edit]3PL Central got started in 2006. It was created to help warehouses keep track of products and ship orders for a lot of different businesses that all share the same building.[3][1]
In 2021 the company appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.[4]
In April 2021 3PL Central acquired Skubana, a platform for managing orders and inventory across different sales channels.[1][5][6] Later in 2021 3PL Central acquired CartRover, which connects online stores, marketplaces and shipping carriers.[7][8][9] Lastly 3PL Central acquired Scout Software, a tool for keeping track of how much inventory is sitting in a warehouse.[10][11]
In May 2022 the company changed its name to Extensiv and put all of the products it had bought under one brand. By then more than 1,500 third-party logistics providers were using the platform.[2][12][13]
In December 2022, Extensiv took an $80 million senior secured term loan from Runway Growth Capital. The company said it would use the money to pay off debt it already had and to cover working capital for product development and growth.[14][15]
Extensiv also started putting out yearly survey reports about the third-party logistics industry, and what those reports found has been picked up by DC Velocity, Sourcing Journal, and Digital Commerce 360.[16][17][18]
Extensiv AI came out in June 2026.[19]
Products
[edit]The main product is 3PL Warehouse Manager, a cloud warehouse management system that covers receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and inventory for a lot of clients at the same time.[20] Order Manager handles orders across sales channels and came out of the Skubana acquisition, and Integration Manager connects shopping carts, marketplaces, carriers, and EDI and came out of CartRover.[12][6][8][9]
Extensiv also sells Smart Scan, a mobile barcode scanning app for picking, packing, and receiving,[21] and a Small Parcel Suite that does barcode-verified packing, rate shopping, and bulk label printing.[22] Network Manager lets a 3PL run several fulfillment sites from one login and add partner warehouses instead of leasing new space,[23][20] and the Labor Analytics Dashboard shows real-time and historical labor data for a warehouse.[20] Warehouse Manager is warehouse management software for ecommerce fulfillment.[10][24] Billing handles client-level rate cards and automated invoicing for third-party logistics providers.[20] Premium Account Services is on-demand help from Extensiv consultants for things like onboarding, training, workflow projects, and other technology work.[25] Extensiv AI, which launched in 2026, answers questions using live warehouse data and the company's help documentation.[19]
In 2026, Robotics and Automation News put Extensiv on a list of warehouse management systems for third-party logistics providers and said it fits growing and mid-market 3PLs.[26]
